Lunchtime Meals

Lunch

Children can either bring in a packed lunch, or have a hot school meal.  It is recommended that packed lunches are healthy, with one treat and no fizzy drinks.  Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM). Your child may also be entitled to free school meals, please see funding page for details.  Alternatively you can opt to pay for a hot meal for your child.

Hot meals are provided by ISS catering team based within the school.  ISS believe that the key to fuelling young minds comes from understanding both what they need and what they enjoy, which is why they develop nutritious and delicious food that pupils love, alongside helping to ensure a healthy body and mind.  Their passionate culinary experts work closely with us to ensure every child receives healthy food, perfectly suited to meet their needs and dietary requirements.

The current meal price is £2.95.

Please view the attached document to understand how you can order meals via the Kanpla system.

For children with food intolerances and allergies, ISS have a dedicated team of medical diet nutritionists on hand to support allergen aware children and their parents.

If you choose to send your child to school with a packed lunch, please ensure that it is stored in a suitable container clearly labled with their name and class. The NHS website has a great page to help you prepare a healthy packed lunch for your child. Sweets and fizzy drinks or food/drink in cans are not allowed.
